Dr Heim is amazing. Very sweet, caring and devoted to her patients. But be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes past your appointment time as well as an unfriendly office staff. You wait at the check-in window at minimum 5 minutes before the wonder back to their desk and then look at you as if you are interrupting something important. It’s not worth showing up 10 to 15 minutes early because then you are looking at a good hour wait for a 10 minute appointment. Like I said the doctor is patient friendly, great bedside manners. But don’t make your appointment if you have any other plans that are just as important, they don’t care and are extremely dismissive.

Matt Zoeteman is delighted to be joining the caring staff at the Psoriasis & Eczema Treatment Center of Western Michigan as a dermatology physician assistant. A Grand Rapids native, Matt obtained his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in 2017. Prior to that, Matt was an orthopedic RN, after graduating from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys all that Michigan has to offer with his fiancée, Cait, a registered dietitian. He can also be found at the dog beach in Muskegon, with his black lab rescue, Jack, or exploring Grand Rapids on his bike.
He is licensed by the State of Michigan and is board certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants. Additionally, he is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Dermatology Physician Assistants. Matt believes that every patient should be treated like family.
