Managing My Allergic Eczema With Baths Instead Of Showers
For many years I was told to take short, quick showers. I tried this advice when my eczema was really bad but I never saw results.
Plus, showers always felt good and it was tough to take short showers. Like most people I preferred long, hot showers.
My doctor told me to bathe instead of showering and I thought Id give it a try. My doctor mentioned a few of the benefits of baths over showering.

Shower water, whether warm or cool, sprays directly against our skin and tends to wash away the bodys natural oil. It occurs no matter how long or short the shower is. This is why my skin always felt extra dry after showering.
